Emerson Garden Swings with HipSocket

Soulful and tight knit band rock the Summer Concert Series.

HipSocket describes themseves as a "tight-knit band," one that has performed together for over 9 years. Last Wednesday evening, this description proved accurate as they entertained a large audience in the latest in the series held at .

Mixing a blend of rock, blues and soul, HipSocket performed a numver of popular, well known songs blended with some of their own original work. Selections by Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin, to name a few, were performed with an amazing fluidity and energy.

The final Summer Concert will be held this Wednesday at 6:30pm and is hosted by the . The concerts are free to all and a great way to spend an evening with family and friends.
