ReplyTrash and recycling in Brookline are actually pushed a day. If your normal pickup is Thursday, this week it's now Friday, and if it was Friday, this week it's now Saturday.

ReplyI remember once seeing the comedian John Hodgman call out Brookline on The Daily Show, which took me by surprise. Then I discovered that he had grown up in Brookline, and it all made sense.

ReplyFor Brookline residents, the other important question is what happens to our state government districts. From what I can gather, Brookline will continue to be represented by the same four state representatives and the same state senator.

There's quite a few people living in Brookline who are important and well-known in their fields but who would be unrecognizable if you saw them on the street. As it is, my background is in Physics so I've been aware of Ramsay and his work for a long time. It's sad to see him gone.
