ReplyMassGOP going negative on Markey before the primary could backfire should Lynch win the nomination. His poll numbers have been stronger than Markey's vs. the Republican primary candidates.

ReplyIt should be noted that The Publick House identifies itself as a "Belgian leaning craft beer bar & resto." Owner David Ciccolo is not shy about letting customers know that his establishment is not the place to go for those looking for traditional St. Patrick's Day shenanigans.

The Selectmen only approved the program extension until December 31, 2013. Selectman Benka wanted a shorter window in order to examine the possible negative impact of food trucks on Brookline's bricks-and-mortar restaurants. Selectman Benka's concern helps counter the claim that Brookline is unfriendly to local business. However, if the Board decides to remove the St. Mary's Street location without offering suitable alternatives, the food trucks won't return in 2014.
