The Norfolk County District Attorney announced that a Norfolk County Grand Jury indicted three Boston men today, one adult, two juveniles, in connection with robberies in Brookline near the Boston University campus in September and October. The two juveniles were indicted as youthful offenders, which means their names can be released to the public. Taquari Milton, 17, of Lawrence Ave, Roxbury was charged with three counts of armed robbery on 9/25/12, one count armed robbery on 10/5/12 and one count of accessory after the fact on 10/5/12 (legally duplicative of armed robbery). One of three suspects in armed robberies around Boston University campus released yesterday pending trial, BU Today reports.
Back on the streets, but not yet out of the police department's gaze--one of the suspects in the BU armed robbery spree which started late last month is under GPS surveillance. 17-year-old Taquari Milton of Lawrence is being GPS monitored, and has been told to stay out of Brookline and away from the Boston University campus. He also has a strict curfew from 4 p.m. to 6 a.m., and must report to a probation officer, according to a report from BU Today. See the full BU Today story on their site. After fourth armed robbery report, Boston University Police are also offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
Photos and videos of suspects in two of the armed robberies were released, and a tips line has been opened for information: 1-800-494-TIPS or text "TIP" to 27463 (CRIME). After last night's reported armed robbery attempt of a BU student, Brookline, Boston and Boston University police held a press conference at the Brookline Public Safety building. BU Community informed of an attempted armed robbery last night, at about 8 p.m. Victim was unharmed.
At about 8:40 p.m. last night, the Boston University Community was informed of an attempted armed robbery at 808 Commonwealth Avenue through the BU Alert system. BU Police tweeted that the female student was unharmed, and that the suspects were two black males wearing sweatshirts. Brookline police report that a recent BU grad was robbed at gunpoint, making the third similar robbery in two weeks.
Last night, about 5 p.m., Brookline Police report a third armed robbery near the Boston-Brookline border, again involving a member of the Boston University community. Brookline Police say that the recent college graduate is unharmed, but was shown a gun by three teenaged black males, who then fled the scene toward Commonwealth Avenue. BUPD Lieutenant Taso Giannopoulos told BU Today that the victim walked a block and found his cruiser. He went on, “I put in the call and literally within a minute there were about a dozen cruisers there from Brookline and BUPD.” BUPD say that, if you see the suspects, do not approach them. Two gunpoint robberies reported within a week near the Brookline-Allston border. Boston University police seek any information on the incidents.

Brookline police respond to a robbery by gun on Sunday morning off of Thorndike Street.
At about 3 a.m. on Sunday, two Boston University students were walking home along Hamilton Road when two men stopped them and relieved them of their phones at gunpoint. Brookline Police say the suspects took a wallet and an iPhone from one and cash from the other, after showing a black semi-automatic weapon to them. Reports also indicate an Android phone was taken from the pair. The suspects asked them for the time before flashing the weapon, according to the report on CBS.
