TALKER: Should Brookline Make Lehane Take Down Signs?
What do you think about missing dog signs in town?
Yesterday, we ran an article about the town’s displeasure with the missing signs for Tessa Lehane. In response, Dennis Lehane wrote: "I can see the town of Brookline's point. And there's no reason we should expect preferential or selective treatment because of my last name. If this is their policy then we will abide by it and take the signs down. The town of Brookline and the city of Boston have been nothing but supportive during this situation and we thank them wholeheartedly." As Mr. Lehane understands the Town of Brookline allows a reasonable period of time to post lost dog notices, yard sale advertisements, offers to teach guitar and all the other material which we see taped to lamp posts and utiltity polls.
