Parking rates on Lower Beacon increase today for Red Sox games.
Bring extra quarters! Today is the first home game for the Red Sox at Fenway Park, which means the parking rates are higher on lower Beacon street. Starting at 6pm, the first two hours at a meter are $1, then the cost goes up to $10 an hour. Stephen Collins' "Shake Scene" showcases some of Shakespeare's finest works and words. He performs his one-man show, which highlights some of the words the Bard invented. The show starts at 3:30 p.m. at the Goddard House. The Week of the Young Child begins tomorrow, and to kick it off, the Town Hall Walls exhibition hosts a gala at the Town Hall.
