The accident happend on the Route 9 east ramp from Hammond Pond Parkway.
A driver was transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital Wednesday morning after a single-car rollover accident at the Hammond Pond Parkway/Route 9 interchange. The driver suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to State Police. The accident occurred at 9:34 a.m. on the Route 9 east (Boylston Street) ramp from Hammond Pond Parkway. The vehicle involved in the accident hit a parked car and both vehicles were towed from the scene, State Police said. According to State Police, there was a passenger involved with the accident, but only the driver was transported to the hospital.

3 car crash causes traffic snarl on Route 9 at Lee Street
One person was injured in a three-car accident at the intersection of Route 9 and Lee Street about 1:15 p.m. this afternoon. Traffic in both directions on Route 9 experienced delays while firefighters, police and EMS tended to the scene. The injured victim was transported to the Beth Israel Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Brookline Police.

EMS arrives at the scene of a four-car accident earlier today, involving an oxygen truck.
At around 10 a.m., Fallon EMS arrived on the scene of a four-car accident at the intersection of Route 9 and Cypress involving an oxygen truck, operated by Life Gas. Fallon then requested assistance from the Brookline Fire Department. An additional Speedy Dry unit was requested to the scene to help clear the mess. Two women were injured and taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital with minor injuries. Traffic had to be diverted from the area for a period.

Well, as the daughter of a Boston Firefighter (35 years) my objection would be that YOU MUST HAVE TWO ENTRANCES AND EXITS. There were businesses there before the fire and everyone was able to drive in and out onto Florence St. or Rte. 9 and there were no problems. I have been driving on those streets for over 50 years.
