UPDATE: Brown Questions Markey's Malden Residency

Boston.com is reporting an early salvo has been fired in what could be the Senate special election showdown.

Editor's note: This article was updated on Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 5 p.m. with a response from Markey's spokeswoman Giselle Barry.  In a radio interview Wednesday morning, U.S. Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) jabbed at Democratic Congressman Edward Markey about his residency in Malden, according to a Boston.com report. Brown questioned if Markey still lives in Massachusetts anymore and also told WTKK-FM he often sees members of the Bay State congressional delegation on planes trips home but said "I have never seen Ed on the airplane—ever," according to the report. Barney Frank: No Plans for Paid Lobbying After Congress

Frank reportedly signed with a talent agency, according to a blog on The Hill.

  Democratic U.S. Rep. Barney Frank's life after Congress will not include two things: paid lobbying or work as a lawyer. Instead, Frank plans to teach, write a book, give speeches and work as a political commentator, according to a report in the Boston Herald. The Massachusetts congressman clarified his plans in a statement Wednesday after receiving questions about his future after Congress. According to a blog post on The Hill, Frank has also signed with a talent agency.  Frank closed his statement Wednesday by directing any questions to William Morris Endeavors, a talent and literacy agency run by Ari Emanuel, brother of Chicago Mayor and former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.
