To a restaurant fulll of supporters and press--and a couple of diners, she spoke about her work with the Bureau of Consumer Protection, and about her candidacy for US Senate. Recent polls put her near to a tie with incumbent Scott Brown, a number of news sources report today, in spite of controversial claims about her Cherokee heritage.
