Town Election: Selectmen Results - Daly and Benka Re-elected

2011 Town Election had a low turnout, but the incumbent selectmen retained their seats.

Town Election results, an unofficial version, have been released. Both incumbent Selectman candidates, Dick Benka and Nancy Daly, have been re-elected. The initial results show that Benka scored just over 43% of the vote and 45% went to Daly.  Of the over 35,800 voters registered in Brookline, only about 2,800 voters cast their votes by the time polls closed.  We will post full results for all elected positions in the morning.

Candidates are not judged simply on their merits, only by the number of friends they make in …   more ›
