Car Troubles Lead to Cocaine Bust
The following information was supplied by the Brookline Police Department. Charges listed do not imply conviction.
Officers were traveling on Chestnut Hill Avenue at the intersection of Boylston Street on December 22 at around 6:30 p.m. when they observed a grey Mitsubishi SUV driving with their hazards on. The vehicle was traveling very slowly. Officers pulled over to assist the driver. As the officers approached the driver and passenger windows, they reportedly noticed two beer bottles behind the two seats. While speaking with the passenger, officers noted that he seemed very nervous and agitated. Before the officer asked the passenger anything, the passenger said that they just went out to get food and were on their way home.
