Five Things, January 22: CERT Training
Here are five things going on in town today.
1. Weather: The National Weather Service predicts snow before noon with a high of 28. The evening will drop to 7 degrees. Very cold, so be prepared for that! 2. Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training: The Brookline Police Department will be hosting a 10-week CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Training starting in January. An application and CERT overview are attached. Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings, beginning January 22, from 630-930pm. Most classes will be held at the Brookline Emergency Operations Center, 870 Hammond St and some will be held at the BPD Headquarters, 350 Washington Street. If my parents had tracked my moves in college, I think it would have led to earlier demises for both of them. My son in college deserves to be treated like an adult, and deserves privacy.   more ›
