Climate Week 2013 Plans Announced
Climate Week will run from January 26 to February 3
This year, Brookline Climate Week will have over 50 events and displays around town, including a 3R Depot Extravaganza to reduce, reuse and recycle at Town Hall, Brookline’s Winter Farmers Market in the Arcade Building, a maze, and several events at the Brookline Library. The maze is set up between Town Hall and the Main Library, called Be A-MAZEd, made of old traffic signs, which deliver a message about the environment. The maze is 70 feet long and 45 feet wide. “There must have been about 300 people, particularly children, delighting in the wonder of the maze,” Mary Dewart of the Climate Action Committee said.
