Christmas Tree Pickup Schedule in Brookline
The town will take your tree from the curb in January.
You may not be ready yet to put an end to the holidays, but your tree must be taken down and go out for composting during the first two full weeks of January or you'll be stuck disposing of it on your own. According to the Town of Brookline's site, "starting December 26th and running until January 31st you may place your tree out on your regular trash collection day for pick up. Tree must not be in a plastic bag or covered with any type of lights, tinsel etc. Do not place your tree out earlier than your collection day or you could be subject to a warning or fine."
