No Legitimate Bomb Threat Found at Match Charter School

Boston Police called off their investigation at the school for a potential bomb threat around 2:30 p.m.

Boston Police investigated a potential bomb threat at the Match School located at 1001 Commonwealth Avenue on Wednesday afternoon. A bomb squad was called in at approximately 12:40 p.m. to investigate several threats, according to the Boston Police Department.  An emergency alert from the Boston University Police read: "The Boston Police have received a bomb threat at the Match School and additional threats have been received.  Please avoid the area of Comm. Ave and Babcock St." At around 2:30 p.m., the area of Commonwealth Avenue near Babcock Street was cleared and reopened to the public.  Stay with Patch for updates.

Boston Police are investigating a potential bomb threat at the Match School located at 1001 Commonwealth Avenue.  Police said a bomb squad is currently investigating the threats as to whether or not there's any legitimacy to the claim.
