Brookline High Graduation 2012: Seniors Move On with Music and Speeches
Brookline's 2012 class graduates with musical numbers, speeches from alumni and students, and a rapping headmaster.
The sun shone, music played, and the Brookline High School Class of 2012 closed their chapter at Brookline High School on Sunday, June 10. Brookline High School's graduation ceremony featured a speech by Grace Kelly, a jazz musician and former Brookline High School student, as well as speeches by two students: Jeffrey Strickland and Lia Parker-Belfer. Interim Headmaster John Ritchie presented the class to the Superintendent of Schools Bill Lupini in the form of an old school rap. With a laugh, Lupini added, "that's the second time he's done that to me," before accepting the class and presenting diplomas.
