Boston University Police are urging anyone to call 911 or the BUPD at 617-353-2121 with tips or to report suspicious behavior.
Three separate incidents around the Boston University campus involved students being robbed late Friday night, including one at gunpoint. Brookline, Boston, and Boston University Police are investigating the three incidents that happened late Friday and two early Saturday, on or near BU's campus. Brookline and Boston University Police have said they are increasing patrols in the area after the robberies. A female BU student, with two others were allegedly robbed at gunpoint around 12:15 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul and Thatcher streets in Brookline, according to BU Today. The victim was not injured. Police confronted Timothy Davidson of South Boston at the Mobil gas station on East Berkley Street in the South End on Saturday.
A South Boston man convicted of drunk driving eight times was arrested again in the South End on Saturday night for allegedly driving drunk again. Timonthy Davidson, 51, of South Boston was arraigned in court on Monday was held without bail and will remain behind bars until later this week, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley's office. Prosecutors are seeking to continue to hold him without bail as a "threat to the community." Five assaults on females have occurred in the Ashford Street area in the last six weeks.
Boston Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect responsible for five attacks against females in Allston in the last six weeks. Police said the victims were pushed to the ground, their skirts were lifted and a photo was taken with a camera phone. All five attacks have occured on Ashford Street in Allston and happened between 12 a.m. and 2 a.m. The latest incident happened on November 6th. The suspect is described by victims as a white or light skinned Hispanic male between the ages of 19 and 30, with an average build and dark clothing. Sunday's Riverway stabbing came at the tail end of a robbery, according to a statement by the Boston Police. A 49-year-old man was stabbed in an armed robbery attempt near Longwood Avenue and the Riverway on Sunday afternoon. According to a Boston Police statement, officers found the victim shortly after fielding calls about the attack at 12:24 p.m. "On arrival, officers located the 49 year old, male victim, who stated he was sitting on the logs listening to music and feeding the ducks when he was approached by the suspect," wrote police on the BPDnews.com blog.
