Selectmen Talk Snowy Sidewalks, Bike Lanes and Traffic Complaints
Selectman meeting includes budgets and school building updates, and Open Meeting Law update.
The Board of Selectmen's meeting last night included: a number of Warrant Articles for the upcoming Town Meeting to review, as well as budgets, open meeting laws, school building projects, town staffing decisions and a citizen's complaint. The first article for review was about snow and ice removal from sidewalks during the winter. "We have the Police Department, the Fire Department and we have Public Works. These three departments are actually out there saving peoples’ lives. You may say, 'well, how in the world does Public works save people’s lives?'"
