Watch Your Phone for Mitt Romney's VP Pick

The election goes high tech with new apps to keep you informed about the election, and about the vice presidential pick.

Both President Obama and Governor Romney released new apps for smartphones, but only one will keep you posted on an outstanding vice presidential pick.  Mitt Romney's presidential campaign released an app for Android and iOS platforms yesterday that will announce the selection of his vice presidential pick. The app will push a notification to your phone when the announcement is made, offering you the chance to find out from them first.  A description from the Mitt Romney campaign site:  There's no telling when Mitt will choose his VP. Mitt Romney Taps Brookline Resident to Lead VP Search

Mitt Romney's campaign reportedly is seeking help from Beth Myers, a Brookline resident and long-time supporter of the presidential candidate.

Mitt Romney's campaign has tapped a Brookline resident, Beth Myers, to oversee the search for a vice president that will fit his ticket “I have selected someone who has been a counselor of mine for a number of years, Beth Myers. She was my chief of staff when I was governor,” Romney told ABC News’ Diane Sawyer in an interview which ran last night.
