If you plan to get out and remember those who served, the Brookline Veterans' Services department has a full program which travels to various sites around town and culminates in the rededication of the restored Civil War tablets outside Town Hall. A shuttle departs from Veterans' Post at 8 a.m., goes to Walnut Hills Cemetery, and will return to the World War Monument infront of Town Hall at 11 a.m. for the concluding ceremonies.
