Five assaults on females have occurred in the Ashford Street area in the last six weeks.
Boston Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect responsible for five attacks against females in Allston in the last six weeks. Police said the victims were pushed to the ground, their skirts were lifted and a photo was taken with a camera phone. All five attacks have occured on Ashford Street in Allston and happened between 12 a.m. and 2 a.m. The latest incident happened on November 6th. The suspect is described by victims as a white or light skinned Hispanic male between the ages of 19 and 30, with an average build and dark clothing. Police have released the name of the 21-year-old killed in a bike accident in Allston on Monday night.
Boston Police have identified the male student fatally injuried in a bicycle accident with an MBTA bus in Allston on Monday night as 21-year-old Chung-Wei Yang, according to a statement released on Thursday afternoon. Police said that after a preliminary investigation, they have determined Yang's bicycle came into contact with an MBTA Route 57 bus around 6:30 p.m. in the area of Brighton Avenue and Harvard Avenue in Allston. Police said they found Yang seriously injured at the scene. He was transported to Beth Israel Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police said that so far, no charges have been filed.
