Winthrop Square
Winthrop Square features two woodchip playgrounds - one wood, the other metal and plastic - and a splash fountain shaded by rows of enormous trees that run the length of the park. A small grass playing field is separated from the playground by tall fences at the northern end of the park, which is also home to the Minot Rose Garden.

Wonderful park, the best in Brookline! Lots of children playing, new playground structures, well-maintained, lots of shared toys, great rose garden and a generous park size. Whole lot is fenced in, so it's very secure for a running child.
