One of Brookline's largest athletic fields, the Daniel J. Warren Field includes facilities for baseball, softball, soccer, tennis and basketball. The park also has several pieces of playground equipment including a sandbox and splash fountain scattered along a path from the Brookline Recreation offices on Eliot Street.

The park is part of Brookline's Green Dog Program, which allows park users to let their dogs off a leash during certain hours. At Warren Field, dogs are allowed off the leash from dawn to 1:00pm.

Organized teams must seek a permit from the Brookline Recreation Department before using town atheletic facilities.
