Brookline's newest park, Skyline was completed in 2008 after a multi-year effort to close and cap a town landfill that had previously occupied the site. Perched on top of a steep man-made hill, the park now includes a multi-purpose synthetic turf field, wood-chip playground and a covered shelter with picnic tables.
