Owner Rita Bavakat gives credit to the people in this Brookline neighborhood for her cafe's opening in January 2009. The residents' complaints of the area's lack of good coffee motivated Bavakat to open an establishment that does exactly this. The cafe has North End inspirations and cafe food and drinks to match. Italian import Lavazzo coffee and fresh baklava pastries are just some of the goods here. Freshly made paninos and sandwiches can be ordered for lunch and special holiday cakes can be pre-ordered for a lesser price.
