Pizzera Dante has only been open since summer 2009, but it has already made a reputation for itself in Brookline. The Examiner magazine says it has the best slice in Brookline, beating out 21 other pizzerias. The restaurant offers more than pizza though. Fresh gelato, pasta and a make-your-own-salad option are customer favorites. All dishes are all handmade with fresh ingredients and produce. The restaurant is inspired by the homemade meals the owner, David Dragani, ate as a child.

Fantastic! Wonderful service and great food. Especially the baked ziti and chicken pesto sandwich. My children love the pizza.
