Not much has changed for New Paris Bakery aside from a move over 80 years ago to its current location, and a new name and ownership about 25 years ago. This simple bakery still uses the highest quality ingredients for all its homemade cookies, candies and popular chocolate eclairs. In fact, none of the traditional style French pastries made at New Paris Bakery contain lard. When owners Roula and James Kappas initially came to Brookline they weren't familiar with the area. Now they love engaging with their ethnically diverse, educated and politically active clientele.
