Koko FitClub in Brookline is an automated personal training studio that utilizes technology to track and improve an individual's health and fitness. Its Smartraining System creates personalized fitness programs so that each workout is based on the individual's unique fitness goals, current fitness level and physical parameters.
Led by computerized systems that organize and track progress, Personalized Workouts take about 30 minutes each and incorporate conditioning, body sculpting, weight loss and muscle toning. Customized workouts for postpartum mothers and individuals with such chronic health conditions as back pain, diabetes, breast cancer, arthritis and men's health are available as well. I've been doing gyms for years.. more or less hating it all the time. The strength machines were always a challenge to remember how to do the exercise, what weight this time, is my pace right. And the personal training option is too expensive and well, too personal.
Enter Koko Brookline.. the SmartTrainer machines have the routines of the top trainers in the US embedded in the software -- that software shows you how to do the exercise, controls your pace, keeps track of your progress (and keeps challenging you more each day), and keeps you focused. And when you hit the cardios, you plug in your earphones, select which routine for today and the instructor is in your ear driving you. Believe me, I never worked out on an elliptical like that before! You can get a killer workout in less than an hour!
And all my progress I can see on the web and that keeps you coming back . Seriously, I feel stronger, straighter and yeah, happier. It's more like a club than a gym, The staff is terrific. It works!
I absolutely LOVE Koko! I am what they call a KokoNut- my results in just over 2 months have been nothing less than impressive. It's a state of the art Fitness Studio where you work with a Smart Trainer (think virtual Personal Trainer) doing workouts completely customized to you! They take your age, gender, current fitness level, body composition, etc. and apply TONS of data to your Personalized Plan to keep you challenged the entire time. I've done lots of things in my fitness life, and this is one thing that keeps me coming back for more!

Before I began working out a Koko FitClub I had basically given up on gyms. I never knew how to set up the machines or knew what exercises I should be doing when I worked out. I also hated feeling like, when I did go to the gym, I spent hours in the gym without getting any results. Then I came to Koko FitClub and my entire attitude towards working out changed. Koko FitCLub thinks everything out for you from what weights to do, what exercises to perform and it even what order to do everything in. I love that I don't have to think at all when I come in to workout, I just have to show up and I know I'll get an amazing workout. Also, Koko makes you excited about working out. For example,they award you points everytime you get a workout which go towards earning different colored lanyards that you can show off to everyone. And the best part about all this is strength training is only 30 minutes and cardio is only 15 minutes so I can get an awesome workout and still have lots of time left in my day. My days of hating the gym are over and I've finally found a place that works for me.
