Brookline Avenue Playground
This four-acre park along Brookline Ave. features a large playing field, a baseball diamond, and a fenced-in "tot lot" with a woodchip playground and swings. This park is directly adjacent to the Lynch Recreation Center.
Organized teams must seek a permit from the Brookline Recreation Department before using town athletic facilities.
Brookline Avenue Playground is part of Brookline's Green Dog Program, which allows users to let their dogs off leash during certain hours. At Amory, dogs are allowed off leash from dawn to 1 p.m. during March through November, and from dawn to dusk during December through February.
