Representative Coppinger Holds First Annual Holiday Card Contest

West Roxbury, Mass. - Today, State Representative Ed Coppinger announced his first annual New Year's holiday card contest. The competition calls for all children of the 10th Suffolk District to submit their best drawing that depicts the celebration of the New Year. The best artistic piece will be featured as the cover on Representative Coppinger's New Year's cards to neighbors in the district.

"Former Councilor John Tobin ran a similar contest while he was in office. I love the way that contest brought the community together during the holiday season. The season is a time to be shared with friends and families. This contest calls for the children of my district to get involved and to exhibit their artistic talents which will bring holiday cheer to the entire 10th Suffolk District," said Representative Coppinger.

All submissions must be sent to P.O. Box 320610 Boston, MA 02132 by December 16th in order to qualify.
