The Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild’s high school
theater festivals will be held on Saturday, March 1, at a number of locations
around the state.
Since the 1930s, students have been participating in the festivals. The program has grown to 350 different schools participating.
Preliminaries will be held at 14 different schools on Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. and running through the early evening. Tickets are $10 and only available at the door.
Brookline High School students will be performing “V For Vendetti” at 2 p.m. at Brookline High School.
The results will be posted on the festival organizer’s website on March 2.
The semi-finals will be held on March 15, and the state finals on March 27. The New England Festival will run from April 15, to April 17, at St. Johnsbury Academy in Vermont.
