Brookline High Graduation 2012: Seniors Move On with Music and Speeches

Brookline's 2012 class graduates with musical numbers, speeches from alumni and students, and a rapping headmaster.

The sun shone, music played, and the Brookline High School Class of 2012 closed their chapter at on Sunday, June 10.

Brookline High School's graduation ceremony featured a speech by Grace Kelly, a jazz musician and former Brookline High School student, as well as speeches by two students: Jeffrey Strickland and Lia Parker-Belfer.

Interim Headmaster John Ritchie presented the class to the Superintendent of Schools Bill Lupini in the form of an old school rap.

With a laugh, Lupini added, "that's the second time he's done that to me," before accepting the class and presenting diplomas.
