The Boston University chapter of Sigma Chi is being investigated for possible hazing.

Boston University has shut down a fraternity while it probes allegations of hazing.

Members of Sigma Chi are accused of putting students into "extended isolation" and forcing them to drink alcohol, according to BU Today.

If confirmed, it would mark the third incident of hazing at the private school within the past eight months, the Globe reports.
