Brookline High No. 16 in State Rankings

The school made the top of US News & World Report's annual list.

US News & World Report released its annual report of the nation's top high schools Tuesday and Brookline High School was ranked No. 16 on the list of best public high schools in Massachusetts.

The report found:

  • Brookline High has a 12:1 student-to-teacher ratio (state average was 13:1)
  • Its "college readiness" score was 52.4 out of 100
  • 93 percent of students were proficient in math
  • 96 percent of students were proficient in English
The report also ranked Brookline High No. 376 in the country.
