Next week, Hubway riders will be rolling down Harvard Street, and will now be able to park in Coolidge Corner.
According to a press release from the Metropilitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), three more Hubway stations will open in Brookline in the next week, with a fourth coming once a location is nailed town (If you have suggestions , there is a web form on the site).
To celebrate, outside of next Wednesday at 9 a.m. Stop by to learn more about the Hubway network, and to check out the newest two-wheeled additions to Brookline.
The system allows users to rent bikes from standing stations anywhere, ride them, and return them to any of the Hubway stations in the network--regardless of the town in which town you begin and end your ride. Members get are entitled to half-hour rides for free, with additional fees over 30 minutes; non-members can still ride, but pay extra.

Hubway Expands to Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, new parts of Boston
New stations already being installed, opening across the region
The Hubway Bicycle Share system is now expanding across the Boston region, with new stations coming online this week in Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, and new areas of Boston.
When the expansion is complete, Cambridge will have a total of 24 stations; Somerville will have 12; Brookline will have three, and is looking for a location for a fourth; and Boston will get an additional 11 stations, bringing its total count to 72. The entire Hubway system will comprise 111 stations and 1,100 bicycles by the end of the season.
The system is completely interoperable between municipalities, so users can pick up a bike at one station and return it to another one anywhere in the Hubway network. To celebrate the expansion, there will be a series of events on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, starting at Brookline Town Hall at 9 a.m. and moving to Somerville City Hall at 10 a.m., then Cambridge City Hall at 11 a.m., followed by a celebration in Harvard Square. There will be additional events at select stations around the region, with details coming soon.
