Board of Selectmen Vote on New School Site-Wide Assessment

The town has reached out to HMFH Architects, Inc. of Cambridge to assist the B-Space with their task of siting a new school for the Brookline High School Concept Study Agreement from February 2013.

“Right now, we have four specific sites to look at,” Ray Masak of HMFH Architects told the Board on Tuesday, July 23. “The sites are Amory Park, the Baldwin School, Lynch School and the Old Lincoln School.”

These assessments would focus on student capacity. HMFH would determine whether or not the proposed sites could handle and support the new school facilities. The work will involve reviews of available existing plans; site visits, zoning regulation overviews and preparation for the construction in the Spring of 2015.
