Brookline Police Blog reports a knife-wielding man stood behind a woman, chanting "knife, knife, knife."
A woman waiting on a bench in Coolidge Corner found a man behind her repeating "knife, knife, knife," and holding one, on Wednesday afternoon.
Police were dispatched to the intersection of Beacon Street and Marion Street for a possible assault with a knife, according to the Brookline Police Blog. The woman reported that she saw the man and the knife behind her at about 2:45 p.m. on October 16.
The suspect is described as a very thin man in his late 50s to early 60s wearing a black sweatshirt with red and orange text on the back, and baggy gray sweat pants. It looked as though he had not shaved for several days.
