Benefit Basketball Game: Who's Winning Bragging Rights? [POLL]

Fire versus teachers, police versus students. Who do you like for the Benefit Tournament tonight?

A town-wide battle for basketball supremacy is coming to Brookline High tonight. The Brookline police are playing students from Brookline High School. After that, the fire department challenges the high school teachers.

And all of it benefits the Beacon Street Fire Fund

The first game kicks off at 6 p.m., the second at 7 p.m. in the Schluntz Gymnasium.

Tickets are $5.00 for students and $10.00 for adults. Children under 10 are free. The game also marks the end of a silent auction, with proceeds also going to charity.

With the goal of the Benefit Basketball Tournament for Brookline Victims of the Jan. 16 Fire, there is still a little smack talk from the Brookline Police Department, who say they have the game "in the bag."
