Found this post searching for status of rider. Very sad scene. Several of us were good samaritan first responders prior to fire/ems response. Rider was unconscious while I was helping. Want to respect his privacy so won't go into much here. We did our best to care for him, a Dr. joined us prior to fire/ems. Someone's brother, son, friend, or colleague needs well wishes and prayers today. College age male had significant head trauma, spine and leg trauma also likely based on presentation. Separated from helmet on initial impact. Bystanders gave aid by coordinating with 911 dispact via phone, taking off the shirts on their backs to help with treatment. Good people. I sure hope this young man makes it through and recovers fully. Response time all around was fantastic so he has the best chance you could hope for. Thoughts and prayers. -Tim

Thank you for posting this, Tim. Saw the accident scene maybe an hour after, with hushed pedestrians gathered on the corners, a car with its side smashed in, and traffic blocked. Thoughts are with this poor fellow.
