Two People Charged in Back Bay Crash

Brookline residents Jessica Campbell and John Lanzilotti were killed Saturday when they were struck by a car.

Two Allston residents face charges in connection to the car crash in Back Bay on Saturday that resulted in the deaths of two Brookline residents.

The Boston Globe reported Ghuzlan Alghazali, 26, has been charged with two counts of motor vehicle manslaughter by negligence after allegedly running a red light and striking another vehicle. Mohamed Alfageeh, 29, allegedly told police that he was the driver at the time of the crash, and is being charged with misleading investigators.

Alghazli allegedly ran a red light, was hit by another vehicle and then struck and killed Jessica Campbell and John Lanzilotti Saturday evening.
