Traffic Enforcement Leads to Several Arrests

January 7

1:51 p.m.: While in the area of Beacon Street and Washington Street, an officer observed a vehicle with an expired registration sticker, When the officer asked for the driver’s license and registration, dispatch told the officer that the driver’s license had been suspended. The officer placed Travis Wilbur, 27, of 216 Valley Road, Plymouth, under arrest and charged him with operating with a suspended license, expired inspection sticker and defective break light.

7:54 p.m.: An officer traveling east on Beacon Street at the intersection of Westbourne Terrace observed a black sedan make a wide right turn across the T track and come up on the curb. The officer asked the driver for his license and registration. The vehicle had a valid Massachusetts registration, but the driver’s New York license was suspended. The driver, Trevor Rock, 24, of 18 University Road was charged with failure to grant right of way, improper right turn and operating after suspension.

6:37 p.m.: While conducting traffic patrol near Harmmond Pond Parkway, officers observed a grey sedan traveling at 56 mph in a 40 mph zone. When the officer ran the driver’s information, he found that the driver’s license was suspended and his insurance was revoked. Officers charged Jeff Noel, 22, of 98 Fawndale Road, Roslindale with operating after suspension, operating after revocation, operating without insurance, speeding and failure to display headlights.
