Several People Arrested for Operating Without Licenses

The following information was supplied by the Brookline Police. Charges listed do not imply conviction.

January 22

4:05 p.m.: An officer observed a Volvo on Beacon Street without an inspection sticker. The officer pulled the vehicle over and asked for their license and registration. The driver told the officer that they had purchased the car four days prior and was not cited for the inspection sticker. However, the officer ran the driver’s license and found that it was revoked. Officers arrested Lori Goldstein, 51, of 32 Colbourne Crescent, and charged her with operating after a revocation.

January 23

11:31 a.m.: While patrolling the area around Newton Street and Goddard Circle, an officer observed a Blue Toyota fail to come to a complete stop at the stop sign. The officer pulled the vehicle over and asked the driver for their license and registration. The officer found that the driver’s license was suspended and arrested Lachelle Greene, 26, of 96 Onley Street, Dorchester, and charged her with failing to stop for a stop sign and operating after a suspended license.

January 24

10:36 a.m.: An officer observed a driver fail to stop for a stop sign at Netherlands Road and Parkway Road. The officer pulled the driver over and asked for their license and registration. The driver had a Puerto Rican license and the vehicle’s registration. A query revealed that the driver’s license status in Massachusetts was revoked due to the use of a fraudulent license, effective 1/10/2011. Angel Pagan, 64, of 56 Groveland Street, Mattapan, was arrested and charged with operating after revocation.

12:53 p.m.: An officer observed a grey Honda emitting white smoke from the exhaust pipe on the side of the road, facing north on the southbound lane, near Cypress Street. The officer pulled behind the vehicle and asked the driver for his license and registration. A query revealed that the driver’s license was suspended. Officers arrested Alex Ferreira, 26, of 10 Main Street, Framingham, MA, and charged him with operating after suspension and operating left of center.
