No Bail for Roxbury Teen Charged in BU Robberies

Teen expected to be in court Oct. 18 for a dangerousness hearing.

A 17-year-old Roxbury teen is being held without bail following his arraignment on charges stemming from armed robberies near the Boston Univeristy campus.

Taquari Milton, 17, had a plea of not guilty entered on his behalf in Brookline District Court on Monday and is next scheduled to be in court for a dangerousness hearing Thursday, Oct. 18, according to Boston.com. 

Milton is being charged with two counts of armed robbery following incidents near BU on Sept. 29 and Oct. 5. Two juveniles have also been charged in connection with the robberies, and are expected to be in court Oct. 18.

A total of four armed robberies of BU students or recent graduates occurred near BU between Sept. 29 and Oct. 9. Last week, police for information in the cases.
