Juvenile Arrested After Turning Self in for BU Robberies

Brookline Police are said to have made an arrest Thursday night.

After a spate of armed robberies of students in the north Brookline area near Boston University in recent weeks, Fox 25 News is reporting a juvenile turned himself in to Brookline police Thursday, Oct. 11, around 5:30 p.m.

The Fox report says the unidentified male juvenile turned himself in to police and was arrested in connection with the robberies.

On Oct. 9, Brookline police, with Boston and Boston University police, held a press conference detailing the four robberies, and announced that a tip line had been opened. Police said they had three suspects in the robberies, and that a gun had been shown to the victim in all four cases.
