Traffic
  • Police responded to a crash, to assist with the exchange of information after a crash outside of 1477 Beacon Street, at about 10 p.m. on Saturday night. When they arrived, they found debris in the road, as well as the driver's side door with the door smashed toward the front of the car. A witness, the car owner, said that as he was getting out, he was grazed by another car as it hit the open door--he declined medical attention at the scene. When police spoke with the other driver, they report that he smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes--he also asked to use the bathroom while police were speaking with him. After a few minutes, an officer went to check on him in the can, and reports he had a red face and there appeared to be vomit around the toilet. He was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and a marked lanes violation.
