Brookline Man Charged with Possession of Child Pornography

A Brookline man is facing child pornography charges.

UPDATE 4:50 p.m.: Superintendent Bill Lupini said there's currently no evidence Brookline students were involved in the case.

UPDATE, 3:20 p.m.: Schwartz works as a special education paraprofessional at Brookline High School. He was already on leave for an unrelated matter.

Original post: Brookline Police, working with the Massachusetts State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Benjamin Schwartz, 32 of Brookline, and charged him possession of child pornography and dissemination of obscene material.

The joint investigation lead to the execution of a search warrant of Schwartz’s Brookline home. Schwartz will be arraigned in Brookline Court on Friday, November 16.
