Boylston Street Closed Due to Fire [Update 1:38 p.m.]

Brookline Police urged drivers to avoid Brookline Village area.

[Update: According to one follower on Twitter, police have re-opened the road. 1:38 p.m.]

Brookline Police tweeted that Boylston Street is closed from Washington Street to Cypress Street, westbound, due to a fire call at 81 Boylston.

Police are asking everyone to avoid the Brookline Village area, since traffic is so backed-up.
