Boston University Student Killed in Allston Bike Accident

A Boston University student on a bicycle was fatally struck by a vehicle in Allston.

A Boston University student was struck and killed by a vehicle while riding his bike on Harvard and Brighton Avenue on the night of November 12 according to The Boston Herald.

The fatal incident occurred at around 6:26 p.m., according to the Boston Police Department. Authorities are investigating this hit and run. Police have confirmed that a Route 57 bus operator has been taken off of the streets while this investigation continues.

Authorities are investigating four buses that were in the area in the time of the accident. Each bus has been impounded and their GPS systems are under examination to see where they were at the time of the incident.

The victim was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The identity of the man has not been released yet.
