Terrie is a special gal… She's an orange tabby female and there aren't many of them around! Her fur is actually pretty red, which makes her pretty gorgeous. Terrie, who is about 7 years old, loves to sit on laps and snuggle with people. She'd make the perfect companion for newspaper reading, TV watching or anything else that involves cuddling! She settled in very quickly here at the shelter and immediately showed her loving personality, so she’d probably do the same in her new forever home. Terrie is a gentle cat who gets along just fine with the cat she shares her room with, so she might be a nice companion for your cat at home.
If you are interested in meeting Terrie or any of the cats at The Ellen M. Gifford Cat Shelter, visit our website (www.giffordcatshelter.org). While you’re there, you can fill out an online adoption application for Terrie and learn more about our shelter. You can also call us at 617-787-8872. We are the oldest cageless no-kill cat shelter in the country, and we’re located right here in Brighton!
The mission of Gifford Cat Shelter is to provide a safe haven for abandoned, stray, abused, neglected, unwanted and injured cats with the goal of re-homing and ending the needless killing of community and companion cats. It was the first cageless shelter in the country and has been in existence since 1884.
