KELLER WILLIAMS FUELS 5TH ANNUAL TOUCH-A-TRUCK DAY

Keller Williams is putting their money where your mouth is – literally – with its Snack Sponsorship at the 5th Annual Touch-A-Truck Day to be held on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Newton High School. The family-fun event offers up-close-and-personal access to the trucks that are seen on the road every day, and that keep our communities going. Keller Williams Realty purchased all the food and drinks for this popular event so event host, The Newton Partnership, can apply the proceeds to future community efforts.

“Keller Williams is out in the community interacting with families and local leaders on a daily basis, and we have come to love this event as much as the kids do,” Keller Williams Realty Newton CEO and Team Leader Lynn Cohen said. “Our Touch-A-Truck sponsorship allows us to salute the working class in our community that rely on trucks to perform their jobs, feed the wide-eyed children that flock to this event each year and to demonstrate the importance of Newton area businesses giving back.”

Local truck-loving residents are encouraged to stop by and honk, ring, and climb at the 5th Annual Newton Touch-a-Truck. Children will get a firsthand experience of the trucks they see daily – and enjoy getting behind the wheel of a big rig, touching the scoop of a digger, exploring the inside of an ambulance, sitting inside a police cruiser, walking up the ramp of a delivery truck, and interacting with the men and women that drive trucks for work. Don’t miss the opportunity to keep on trucking – or to take keepsake photos of young road warriors in their element. The event takes place at Newton High School, 140 Brandeis Road, Newton from 10am to 1pm and a $5 per person donation is suggested.
